Hi, my name is Sandra and I'm so glad you are here!

I’m 59 years old, and like many women, I found myself on a rollercoaster ride when I entered perimenopause. It didn’t come with flashing warning signs—just a slow, creeping collection of symptoms I tried my best to brush off. The joint pain? I blamed it on my lifelong scoliosis. Digestive issues? Trouble sleeping? I chalked them up to stress, getting older, or just “one of those things.” Digestive issues...must be sudden lactose intolerance.
But over time, the discomfort grew louder and harder to ignore - especially the joint pain. It became unmanageable, and I knew I had to do something. That’s when I discovered Pilates. At first, it was simply a way to move gently and relieve some of the aches. But then something amazing happened: I started feeling better. Stronger. More in tune with my body. It was a turning point.
Inspired by the changes I felt, I decided to dive deeper and became a Pilates instructor. It’s been a journey—not just of healing my body, but also of rediscovering myself. And now, I want to share everything I’ve learned along the way.
This blog is a space where I dive deep into menopause and aging related pain and discomfort, and all the unexpected twists that come with this stage of life. If you’re navigating similar changes, I hope you’ll find comfort, helpful tips, and maybe even a little inspiration here.
You’re not alone—and there’s still so much strength, vitality, and joy ahead. Let’s move through it together.
